Indagar, explorar, registrar. Registrar, registrar, buscar. La cámara como extensión de la mirada y las fotografías como una extensión del pensamiento. En Superficial cada autor comparte con nosotros una búsqueda. Búsqueda dirigida ó, por el contrario, no intencionada, indirecta. Encontrar la simple mirada, no como simplificación de la realidad sino como el recorte subjetivo del espacio y el tiempo. Este recorte es representado por estos nueve fotógrafos de manera muy distinta.

Collective exhibition of young artists connected to street art and that have a production to be shown in galleries, exhibition halls, museums, etc. The idea is not to transfer the street art to a gallery, rather to show what these artists do in their atelier. They are works on canvas, paper, wood, etc. We also invited three graffiti-artists to intervene the metallic curtain and front of the Marte Upmarket Gallery.

The directors of the gallery Marte Upmarket travel to Italy to usufruct a scholarship and to visit the Venice Biennial, therefore they have to think a show that works while they are not here. Trastienda Italiana is about a show of contemporary artists from Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil that have already exhibited in Marte Upmarket in previous occasions.

After Marte Upmarket visiting Mini in Belo Horizonte, now is the turn for Mini to exhibit in Montevideo.
